1. Burglaries

Over the past fourteen days, no burglaries have been reported within the beat area. This continues a positive trend and reflects the ongoing high‑visibility patrols carried out by the beat team. Officers remain focused on maintaining a visible presence during all times of day, helping to deter offending and provide reassurance to the community. These proactive patrols will continue throughout the coming weeks.

2. Anti‑Social Behaviour (ASB)

The beat team has been patrolling key hotspot locations, including Halstead Park, the Memorial Centre and The Green. Officers have undertaken regular high‑visibility patrols at these sites to deter further issues.

3. Speeding

Speeding remains a persistent concern within the community. Although no speed checks have been conducted this week, further enforcement activity is already planned for the coming period. Officers continue to monitor community feedback and review suitable locations for future checks, ensuring that planned deployments are both effective and safe. Engagement with drivers will remain a key part of this work to promote awareness around speed limits and road safety.
